Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon (9/27/1993)
World Tag Team Champions: The Quebecers (9/13/1993)

Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan.

Let Us Take You Back: Raw, 10/18/93. The Savage/Crush Summit.

  • Crush (w/Mr. Fuji) vs. Phil Apollo

Vince wishes Randy Savage a speedy recovery. Bobby makes fun of Randy’s lacerated tongue. Lots of angry power moves like you would expect from Crush. He wins with the HEAD VICE at 2:48. Heenan continues to mock Savage’s tongue problems. As Crush gets in some extracurricular stomps, the crowd chants for “Macho”.

Elsewhere, Johnny Polo calls the 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty a couple of wusses he could beat with both hands tied behind his back. OH RLY?

  • The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Marty Jannetty

Well, this should be a friendly contest. Both these guys will be on the same team come Survivor Series, so it better stay friendly. Some hammerlocks, leapfrogs, armdrags, and kip-ups to a stalemate to start. SWANK~! Kid gets a victory roll and lands a spinning heel kick, but only scores nearfalls. He tries a headscissors, but Jannetty puts on the brakes with a powerbomb. Oh wait, here comes Johnny Polo to ringside. Commercials! When we return, Polo trips up Jannetty as he comes off the ropes. Not to make the same mistake of babyfaces from yesteryear, Kid covers Jannetty anyway and gets a two-count. Kid lands his kick combo in the corner and delivers a pair of sliding legdrops. From the top rope, Kid misses a somersault dive. Jannetty covers for two. As the match continues, Polo trips up the Kid. LISTEN ALL OF YA’LL, IT’S A SABOTAGE. Jannetty lets Polo know what he thinks about him, but covers Kid as well for a nearfall. While Jannetty continues to point and shout at Polo, Kid sneaks a schoolboy on him for 1-2-NO! Jannetty slows the match down again. He hits a couple suplexes, but Kid flips out of the third one and delivers a bridging German suplex for 1-2-NO! Over in the corner, the ref gets bumped. After Kid dropkicks Jannetty to the floor, it’s time to fly! However, Polo shoves Jannetty into the ringpost causing Kid to completely miss a tope con hilo! As the ref staggers to his feet, he counts out both Jannetty and Kid after their crazy bumps. (10:40 shown) Fun TV match with a GREAT finish, I must say. Not a hidden gem, but worth checking out. Afterwards, Kid and Jannetty work together to beat the crap out of Johnny Polo. AND WHY NOT! What a dick he was. ***¼

Time for another Jeff Jarrett vignette. He’s standing outside Buddy Lee Attractions in Nashville. After he uses the WWF to become a country music superstar, he’s going to show them how they missed the boat on him. He names the Undertaker, Mr. Perfect, and the Steiner brothers as wrestlers he’s going to use to prove how good he is.

  • Ludvig Borga vs. Mike Bucci

Borga is ALL BUSINESS as he throws poor Bucci around and taunts some loudmouth fan in the audience. Big huge jumping lariat sets up the TORTURE RACK in 3:46.

ICOPRO – TATANKA.

After the break, Bobby Heenan tries to get a word with the undefeated Mr. Borga. They hype his match with the undefeated Tatanka on WWF Superstars this coming weekend. If you had to point to one TV match that truly mattered in Ludvig Borga’s career, it would be this one.

  • Men on a Mission (w/Oscar) vs. Todd Mata & Steve Greenman

Vince – “GO AHEAD, OSCAR. GO AHEAD.” Wonder who is telling Vince these things are cool to say. Heenan hypes a WWF tag team titles match on Wrestling Challenge this coming weekend between the Quebecers and Men on a Mission. Double dropkick ends Greenman. In comes Mata, who gets stretched by Mabel. A few fat guy double-teams on Mata and he’s done in 5:34. Whoomp, there it is.

Survivor Series Report with Joe Fowler.

  • The All-Americans (Lex Luger, Tatanka, and the Steiner Brothers) vs. The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, and the Quebecers)
  • The Hart Family (Bret, Owen, Bruce, and Keith) vs. The King & His Knights (Jerry Lawler, ?, ?, ?)
  • Four Doinks vs. Team STANK (The Headshrinkers, Bam Bam Bigelow & Bastion Booger)
  • Team Razor (Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect, 1-2-3 Kid & Marty Jannetty vs. Team IRS (IRS, Adam Bomb, Rick Martel & Diesel)
  • FAMILY FEUD’S Ray Combs will be at the show

WWF: Unbelievable!

  • Diesel vs. Dan Dubiel

Diesel looks ahead to getting his hands on Mr. Perfect and Razor Ramon at Survivor Series. Big Boot and the BLACK GLOVE RIGHT HAND wins at 4:04.

THIS WEEKEND: Tatanka meets Ludvig Borga – someone will beat the streak.

NEXT WEEK: Mr. Perfect will be in action, Harvey Wippleman’s Well Dunn takes on the Smoking Gunns, new IC champ Razor Ramon meets Bastion Booger, and we’ll also see a special interview with the Foreign Fanatics!

AND NOW FOR A VERY SPECIAL BONUS MATCH:

  • Tatanka vs. Ludvig Borga – (WWF Superstars, 10/30/93)

Vince promises this match will be a humdinger. Might I remind you that both wrestlers are UNDEFEATED. It takes Tatanka several chops and clotheslines to finally take Borga off his feet. They go through the same bit again only Tatanka wises up using a dropkick and a crossbody block to score a nearfall on the big guy. Crowd starts to chant “USA”. For some reason, Tatanka seems fine with that since it bothers Borga. He makes Tatanka pay with jabs to the ribs and kidneys. Borga hits a side slam as Mr. Fuji saunters down to the ring waving the Japanese flag. Borga ups the violence to the back with a suplex. Commercials! When we come back, Borga wears down Tatanka with a chinlock. As the crowd cheers him on, HERE COMES TATANKA. He delivers a back suplex, but Borga NO-SELLS and runs him over with a clothesline. Back to the chinlock. Tatanka escapes again and as Borga jabs him some more, Tatanka starts up the WAR DANCE. He lands a couple head chops, but Borga jabs him in the gut again and dumps out in front of Fuji. While ref Danny Davis deals with Fuji, Borga wallops Tatanka over the back with a steel chair. Back inside, Tatanka is completely out. Borga drops to his knees and places one finger on Tatanka’s chest for the 1-2-3. (10:14) For the first time ever on WWF TV, Tatanka has just been pinned. Out comes the WWF champ Yokozuna to celebrate with Ludvig Borga. As a sign of an alliance, Borga drags Tatanka over to the corner for a BANZAI DROP. Meanwhile backstage, Lex Luger is having to fight off the Quebecers who are obviously trying to keep him from saving the day for Tatanka. WHERE ARE THE STEINERS? Luger manages to break away and makes it to the ring to fight off Yoko and Borga to help out his buddy who ends up doing a stretcher job. USA! USA! USA! **
