[1]: When WCW withdrew from the NWA in January 1991, the Steiners U.S. tag title reign carried over into the first WCW U.S. Tag Team title reign. They won the WCW World Tag Team titles in March and therefore had to relinquish the belts.

[3]: The WCW U.S. Tag Team titles were retired in July 1992.
