• Bret Hart & Davey Boy Smith vs. Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart
  

Oh it’s a romp ’em stomp ’em affair right at the bell. Bret and Davey Boy whip Owen and Anvil into one another and then together they clothesline Neidhart out of the ring. Just when it couldn’t get much worse, Bulldog presses Owen up and throws him on top of Neidhart! Bret flips Anvil back into the ring to start a proper tag match. Bret runs circles all around Neidhart until he runs into a bearhug. Bret bites out and tags DBS. Two running shoulderblocks doesn’t put Anvil down, but a jumping shoulderblock will. Neidhart goes to the throat and tags Owen. Bulldog drills Owen with a clothesline and a backdrop. Owen ducks low off a whip and gets caught in an hourglass suplex for two. Bulldog grabs an armbar, but Owen fights out and hits a spinning heel kick. Vince tells us that at the Survivor Series during the Bret/Backlund submission match, Bulldog will be handed a pink and black towel to throw in for Bret while Owen will have the very same towel Arnold Skaaland threw into the ring to cost Backlund the WWF championship to the Iron Sheik back in 1983. OH SNAP! Owen and Anvil begin to take turns working over Bulldog with a chinlock. DBS catches a back elbow from Owen and powers out of the pin attempt big time. Owen still manages to cut off the tag to the champ. Vince mentions how George Foreman who just regained the boxing heavyweight title is the same age as Backlund. Meanwhile, Anvil hits a gutwrench suplex for two. We go to commercial as Owen starts to choke Bulldog in the corner. AND WE’RE BACK! Owen nails Bulldog with an enziguri a year before it became the kick heard ’round the world. That gets two. Tag to Anvil, he grabs a front facelock. Davey Boy continues to push Neidhart back towards Bret until Owen comes over and nails Bret. Forget about the tag, Bret runs in and chases Owen in and out of the ring and back in again. While the ref is trying to get Bret back to his corner, Owen and Neidhart deliver the HART ATTACK to the Bulldog! Awesome. Cover, 1-2-NO! Reverse neckbreaker to Bulldog and Owen heads up top. DBS rolls through a flying bodypress for 1-2-NO! Owen is still able to prevent the tag and then sits down on a rear chinlock. Bulldog stands up and backs Owen into the corner. Owen unloads with European uppercuts, but Davey Boy counters one with a backslide for 1-2-NO! Ref Mike Chioda’s counts are WAY too fast. Neidhart tags and hammers Bulldog to the mat. Neidhart goes CRAZY as he scrapes his knee across Davey Boy’s throat. More commercials. We come back to see a double-KO. False tag to Bret, but then Owen dropkicks Neidhart by accident. HOT TAG TO BRET! DOUBLE NOGGIN KNOCKER by Bret! He fires away on Neidhart in the corner and then flies back on top of Owen for more punches. Bret hits the Running Bulldog for two. Backbreaker sets up the Flying Vertical Elbow Drop for 1-2-NO! We see an old Hart Foundation trick as Owen kicks Bret from behind as he tries to come off the ropes. Bulldog comes over and dropkicks Bret on top of Neidhart when he tries a slam, but then Owen lowers the boom on Bret from the top rope. Owen lays Neidhart on top for 1-2-NO! During a double-team, Davey Boy trips up Owen from the floor and pulls him out for a toss into the steps while Bret nails Neidhart with a clothesline and puts him away with the SHARPSHOOTER for the win. (14:14 shown) This was like the Harts/Bulldogs tag matches from the ’80s. Pretty awesome stuff for a TV match. ***½

• Bam Bam Bigelow (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. Tyron Knox
  

Knox looks like Pez Whatley. Extended squash as Bigelow toils with Knox for a while longer than normal. He puts Knox away with an enziguri kick. (4:40) Afterwards, DiBiase gives Bigelow a pretty hefty payoff. ¼*

Since his contract was up at the end of October, Vince makes an announcement that Randy Savage has left the WWF due to a contractual disagreement and as his biggest fan, he wishes him the best in his future endeavors. Hmm.

• The King’s Court
  

Tonight’s guest is the 1-2-3 Kid. Next week, the Kid meets Bob Backlund. Lawler makes a bunch of jokes at the Kid’s expense all just to distract for a Bob Backlund attack. The plan backfires and Bret Hart comes back down to insure the Kid’s safety. Backlund’s crazy though, so they even have to bring Owen and Anvil out to calm him down.

• Doink (w/Clowns-R-Us) vs. Pat Tanaka
  

Clowns R Us are the midget clowns that will be a part of Doink’s team at Survivor Series against Lawler and his team of midget kings. Yeah, it’s pretty silly. Interesting to see good ol’ Pat Tanaka. Of course he’s nothing but a JTTS at this point. Tanaka delivers a dragon screw legwhip and kicks at the knee a little bit. Doink comes back with a quick back suplex and then scores with the WHOOPIE CUSHION for the 1-2-3. (3:17) Alright. *

Afterwards, the midget clowns take turns wearing Lawler’s crown. He gets it back though, but a jewel is missing!

Before we go, Lawler and his midget kings cower away from Clowns R Us until Jerry stands up and scares the clowns away.

Next week: Aldo Montoya will be making his debut! Jeff Jarrett will be here in action! The 1-2-3 Kid battles Bob Backlund and Bret Hart will be in the Kid’s corner!
