In this VERY ring, Kyle Durden brings out Tyler Black for an interview aaaaand immediately, the ROH world champ Austin Aries interrupts. If Tyler wants interview time, Aries suggests he win the ROH world title. NICE. Aries reminds Black that he has failed to beat him on several occasions. Black thinks he can someday defeat Austin Aries because he’s bigger, stronger and hungrier than he is. Aries gives his best pseudo-Randy Savage reaction. I love it. Nigel McGuinness interrupts and reminds Tyler Black that he always drops the ball when it comes to the big matches. Austin tends to agree with Nigel…and then he BLASTS Tyler in the back of the head with the ROH title belt.

• Kenny King & Rhett Titus (w/a red-headed skank named Vicky) vs. Kenny Omega & Erick Stevens
  

Stevens saved Omega from a King Titus beatdown over a month ago to lead into this match. I’m down with that. King and Omega start us off with some armdraggery and headlockery. King goes to the eyes on Stevens and tags in Titus. He can’t take Stevens down with the shoulderblock, but Stevens can once Titus starts a-thrusting. Back to Omega vs. King, Omega flips over King off a corner charge and catches him with a rana. He heads up top, but Titus trips him up for a nice jumping enziguri from King! Cover, 1-2-NO! Omega fits right into the face-in-peril role as King Titus controls with chokes and double suplexes. Titus hits a jumping double knee drop, King delivers a springboard legdrop for 1-2-NO! Omega shoves off a superplex and catches King with a flying bodypress and makes the HOT TAG TO STEVENS! He’s a freakin’ power house of fire on King Titus. Rhett screws up a dive off the ropes, but Stevens grabs him for a Samoan drop anyways for two. King makes the save and gets chopped away. Stevens catches a jumping roundhouse kick, but Titus dropkicks Stevens down to help out his partner. King delivers a Gunn Slinger into a backbreaker on Stevens and holds him there as Titus drops a Flying Knee! Awesome. Cover, 1-2-NO! King Titus goes for the Blockbuster/Powerbomb finisher, but Stevens fights it off. With King knocked down on the floor, Omega comes from out of nowhere and Asai moonsaults on top of him. Meanwhile, Stevens hits the CHOO CHOO Splash, followed by a missile dropkick to the back of the head from Omega. Cover, 1-2-NO! King makes the save! Stevens gets dumped, leaving Omega for a possible CORONATION. He slips out and fights off King Titus with a DOUBLE RANA! Kotaro Krusher to King! Omega goes for CROYT’S WRATH on King, but Titus trips him up from the floor and King lands on top as Titus holds down a leg for the 1-2-3. (12:25) I’m loving everybody in this match. Good stuff all around. ***¼

• Eddie Kingston vs. Orange Cassidy
  

Cassidy tries to get cute with Kingston and takes a right hand to the face. Chops abound. Kingston continues the violence with several suplexes, the Backdrop Driver, and the SPINNING BACK FIST gets the win. (1:46) Does anybody else get the feeling that his finisher is anticlimactic? I do. BRING ON CHRIS HERO! ½*

We take a look at what happened earlier tonight with Black, Aries, and Nigel!

On the Monday Night Debut of ROH on HDNet starting August 17, the main event will be Tyler Black versus Nigel McGuinness! I’m already seeing stars.

• Jay Briscoe vs. D’Lo Brown vs. Roderick Strong
  

Strong and Briscoe lay hands on D’Lo Brown to start and send him to the floor as they trade rollups on each other. Briscoe sends out Strong and tries for some high-flying, but D’Lo cuts him off. Strong tries saving Briscoe by nailing D’Lo with a flying bodypress, but he’s caught. Briscoe dropkicks Strong on top for two. Briscoe and Strong go back to pounding D’Lo. Of course the team work only lasts so long as the nearfalls become more convincing and the other guy has to make the save. D’Lo counters a double-suplex into one of his OWN. Jumping Knee Strike from D’Lo puts Briscoe on the floor. Now Briscoe pulls out Strong and they come to blows. Briscoe pulls D’Lo out of the way of a slingshot splash. Strong finally has enough of that and wipes out both men with a somersault plancha. Back inside, Strong goes for DEATH BY RODERICK, but D’Lo is way too big and hits Roderick with the lungblower. Cover, 1-2-NO! With Briscoe still on the floor, Brown takes him out with a pescado. Back in the ring, D’Lo nails Strong with a sliding clothesline and then throws him over to Briscoe for an outside beating. Strong fires back and heaves Briscoe hard into the barricade. Brown sees how cool that was and throws Strong into the barricade. D’Lo brings Briscoe into the ring and covers him for two. Strong trips up D’Lo from the floor and gives him that much needed slingshot splash for two. Briscoe saves with a double-stomp. EVERYBODY’S DOWN! They all come up fighting and laying in the forearms. Enziguri by Strong sets up a Death Valley Driver from Briscoe to D’Lo! Cover, 1-2-NO! Strong stops Briscoe up top and with the help of D’Lo Brown, we see the TOWER OF DOOOOOM. D’Lo goes all Samoa Joe on us and turns a deep pin attempt into an STF on Strong off the kickout. Briscoe saves with a running dropkick. Brown misses a corner charge and eats the turnbuckle STO-style. Strong and Briscoe take turns kicking Brown in the face. Another DEATH BY RODERICK attempt, but Briscoe breaks it up with a superkick. D’Lo comes back with a quick clothesline on Briscoe and hits the SHINING WIZARD on Strong for 1-2-NO! D’Lo goes for SKY HIGH, but Strong counters into a sunset flip for 1-2-3. (13:01) Solid enough, but still fairly underwhelming. **½

Next week’s main event will be Davey Richards taking on El Generico! OLE!
