: Once a 16-man tournament reached the quarterfinals, the remaining competitors were Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels, Doug Williams, and Spanky. These four men met in a four-way 60-minute ironman match where the wrestler with the most falls wins the title. Also if you suffered a pinfall, you would lose a point from your score. After 60 minutes, Low-Ki barely beat out Christopher Daniels with a score of 3-2 to become the first-ever Ring of Honor champion.
: This was a fatal four-way match which also included Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels.
: This was a triple-threat match which also included the ROH world champion Jerry Lynn; however, Aries scored the pinfall on Black.
