Your hosts are Dave Prazak and Mike Hogewood.

  • Jerry Lynn & Tyler Black vs. Kenny King & Rhett Titus

King and Titus get entertaining to start by making fun of Black’s choking habits and Lynn’s old age. King and Lynn gets into a Michael Jackson dance-off and KENNY KING GOT SERVED! Lynn sets up a quebrada from Black with a drop toehold for two. In comes Titus, Lynn and Black chop him down for the Too Cool elbow drop. Lynn tries the TKO too close to King, so King helps out Rhett with a distraction and a hotshot. Tag to King, Lynn drops him with an inverted DDT, but the hot tag is cut off by Titus on the other side. Titus comes in and reminds Lynn that the thrust is a must right in his face up in the corner. Sunset flip powerbomb from Lynn sets up the HOT TAG TO BLACK! He misses the quebrada, but nails the standing SSP on King for 1-2-NO! Titus flies down into an atomic drop and then takes a Macho Man running hotshot to set up a Macho Elbow from Black! Tag to Lynn, flying legdrop-side slam combo on Titus gets 1-2-NO! ITS BREAKIN’ LOOSE IN PHILLY! Lynn hits the TKO on Titus, but takes a Blue Thunder Driver by King. Meanwhile, Black saves Lynn with a Pele Kick on King and calls for the Buckle Bomb, but Titus cuts him off with a swinging neckbreaker. Whoa, Titus pulls out a page from Kenny Omega’s playbook by dishing out a Kotaro Krusher on Black. King Titus goes for the Springboard Blockbuster-Powerbomb finisher on Tyler, but Lynn stops King with a springboard dropkick to send him crashing on the floor. Once Black ranas Titus out of the ring, Lynn and Black deliver some STEREO SOMERSAULT PLANCHAS! Back in, King breaks up a Rocker-Plex and nails Lynn up top with a jumping enziguri kick. Here comes Titus to bring him down with a Super X-Factor! Cover, 1-2-NO! Miscommunication problems occur for the heels (badly timed as well) as Lynn puts Titus away with the CRADLE PILEDRIVER for the 1-2-3. (12:46) This was an okay formula tag, but not their best. **¾

  • Sara Del Ray vs. Nikki Roxx

First time for Nikki Roxx on HDNet. TNA fans know her best as Roxxi. Del Ray blasts Nikki with a Rolling Koppou Kick and takes over. Nikki fires back and hits the Beauty Special (snap fallaway slam) for two. Del Ray knees out of the BARBIE CRUSHER and hits the ROYAL BUTTERFLY for the win. (2:14) Don’t really follow TNA, but I hear Roxxi is already back in TNA. ¾*

  • Sonjay Dutt vs. “Sugarfoot” Alex Payne

Speaking of TNA, hereeeeee’s Sonjay! Hogewood tries to create some interest around Alex Payne possibly winning his first match on HDNet. Mat stuff to start, Payne gets a little aggressive by being the first to snap off a headscissors. Sonjay hits a jumping back elbow and stomps a mudhole in Payne down in the corner. Payne elbows out of a chinlock and mounts a comeback with dropkicks and clotheslines. Crowd BOOS all of this. Payne delivers a Diamond Dust for 1-2-NO! Sonjay nails Payne with the Booker T Hook Kick to set up the SONJAY CUTTER, but Payne shoves him off into the ropes and rolls him up for 1-2-NO! As Sonjay kicks out, Payne applies the STF. More booing and “FCK JOHN CENA” chants. Sonjay makes the ropes and avoids a corner charge to hit that kick while he’s in the ropes. Springboard dropkick connects. Sonjay mounts Payne and beats him to a pulp before hooking on the CAMEL CLUTCH for the submission. (4:30) Apparently Philly just doesn’t like blond haired pretty boys. Who knew. After the match, Sonjay Dutt tells Kyle Durden he wants a rematch with Delirious to avenge his loss. **

Video package showing how Daizee Haze is helping Delirious train with a Japanese delivery boy/karate fighter. Hilarity ensues.

Nigel McGuinness vents to the camera about being a wrestler. He’s getting tired of having his brain rattled around.

  • Brent Albright vs. Claudio Castagnoli (w/Prince Nana & Ernie Osiris) – Cage Match

Shouldn’t surprise anybody since this show only has a six-month long history, but this is the first cage match so far on HDNet. Pinfall, submission, or escape are the three ways to win. Lots of “you can’t throw me into the cage just yet” stuff to start. In between all that, Claudio tries to make a few escapes and fails. Once Albright tries to crawl out the door, Prince Nana slams the door in his face to bust him open. Claudio works the cut for a while using the cage and such. He tries climbing out and when Albright tries to stop him, he kicks him back for a missile dropkick. Cover, 1-2-NO! ALPAMARE WATERSLIDE (modified DVD)? No! Albright counters into a small package for 1-2-NO! Bicycle Kick connects for two. Albright punches out of a chinlock and sends Claudio into the cage a whole bunch to cut him open. Claudio catches himself off a catapult into the cage by jumping onto the ropes and springing back onto Albright. He gets caught and Albright wants the Air Raid Crash, but Claudio slips out into a modified back suplex. Claudio tries climbing out again and gets pulled down into a release German suplex for 1-2-NO! Claudio shoves off a superplex and makes it over the top of the cage, but Albright grabs him just before he starts to make it to the floor and brings him back into the cage with a SUPER EXPLODER SUPLEX! Cover, 1-2-NO! WHAT. Once they’re both to their feet, Claudio counters the HALF NELSON SUPLEX and low blows Albright. Now he’s calling for a chair. He looks to stomp the chair on Albright’s head, but Albright moves and low blows Claudio! Now Albright places the chair on Claudio’s head, fires a snot rocket, and then stomps the chair on his head! That’ll do. Cover, 1-2-3. (13:26) Kind of anticlimactic after the super exploder, but it made sense storyline, which begs the question as to why even do the super exploder spot. Reminded me of a Hogan-Bossman cage match from early 89. ***¼

Next week, we’ll see an 8-Team Honor Rumble! YEAH!
