Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Jim Cornette.

  • The New Headshrinkers vs. Jacob & Eli Blu (w/Uncle Zebekiah)

This is the Fatu/Sionne version of the Headshrinkers. Sionne plays face-in-peril for the majority. Fatu gets drawn in as the twins do a switch. Powerslam by Sionne sets up a HOT TAG TO FATU! Things look good for the Headshrinkers, but then it breaks down into a brawl on the outside for the double countout. (7:08 shown) In no way terrible, but just by the book as it could possibly be. *½

Video package on Lawrence Taylor mixed in with NFL footage! Also at WrestleMania XI, Team LT will include Carl Banks, Chris Spielman, Ricky Jackson, Ken Norton Jr., Reggie White, and Steve McMichael. We hear from Mongo who plans to show up on Monday Night Raw NEXT WEEK!

After hearing this announcement, the Million Dollar Corporation reacts. They aren’t skeered of a bunch of NFL boys.

Being both an NFL and WWF star, Ernie Ladd gives his thoughts of Lawrence Taylor’s chances against Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI. LT’s chances are not very good since he will be in Bigelow’s arena. I LOVE IT.

  • WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett vs. Barry Horowitz

Despite his incredible losing record, Horowitz says he feels confident since he’s been talking to Razor Ramon. Horowitz spends several minutes working on JJ’s arm. Once Jarrett breaks loose, Horowitz delivers a high knee and injures himself on the way down. That allows JJ to chopblock him and take Horowitz to school to lead into the FIGURE-FOUR for the win at 4:38.

Bret vows to beat Jerry Lawler into an oblivion – TONIGHT!

Todd Pettingell’s WrestleMania 11 Report airs next. We check out the Men on a Mission heel turn on the Smoking Gunns from the day before on the Action Zone. JR gets all kinds of awesome on commentary there. Pettingell also introduces the Allied Powers as a new tag team.

  • Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler (w/Bull Nakano)

Nakano is with Lawler to prove that the Japanese people are on his side, says Cornette. This match is just 90% Bret Hart. Bob Backlund is shown in the audience, but Hakushi and Shinja appear outside the tunnel to get a closer look at the match. Once Bret looks over at Hakushi, Lawler knocks him to the floor and bounces his head off the steps as we go to break. When we return, Lawler hits a bulldog and a suplex during a series of “Burger King” chants. Bret catches Lawler flying off the top rope and comes back with a bulldog of his own. They go to the floor where Nakano gets involved. Lawler holds Bret while Nakano charges with a boot, but Bret moves and Lawler gets wiped out. Lawler rolls back inside, but Nakano grabs hold of one of Bret’s ankles to cause him to be counted out. (6:36 shown) Just two great workers here. According to this match, this had way more heat than anything Bret and Backlund were doing, which makes the decision to have their match at WrestleMania a real head scratcher. Bret gives chase after Nakano, but Hakushi and Shinja stand in his way. Instead, Bret beats Lawler out of the ring and will have to fight another day. **

Barry Horowitz says he wants a rematch with Jeff Jarrett, but will JJ accept the challenge? Jarrett grants him the rematch FOR the IC title. Before Horowitz can sign the contract, Bob Backlund appears and drags Horowitz away using the CFCW and then quickly goes over and signs JJ’s contract for an IC title match! So yeah, Jarrett is PISSED!

Next Week: Razor Ramon meets Henry O. Godwinn, Steve McMichael will appear, and the WWF tag champs the Smoking Gunns take on the Heavenly Bodies!
