LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR! Your hosts are Joey Styles and Tazz. (VIDEO INCLUDED BELOW~!)

ECW world champ Bobby Lashley comes out to celebrate his win at WrestleMania 23 in the “Battle of the Billionaires” against Umaga. He knows Mr. McMahon is going to put tons of obstacles in his way now that Lashley is responsible for making him bald, but Lashley cannot and will not be stopped.

We get a video package highlighting the Detroit premiere of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s new flick, “The Condemned” which will make it’s way to theaters April 27!

  • CM Punk vs. Steven Richards

Punk has his ribs bandaged to sell injuries from the Money in the Bank ladder match. He does a fine job selling the ribs controlling Richards with a headlock. Naturally, Richards eventually finds an opening and runs Punk into the corner to do more damage to the ribs. He gets a suplex for two. Richards sends Punk in for the Bret corner bump. He applies an abdominal stretch. Sound psychology! I love it. Punk escapes, but Richards monkey flips him over. Richards misses an avalanche though and Punk hits him with THREE running knees to lead to the running bulldog for two. Still selling the ribs, Punk can’t suplex Richards. Punk flips out of a suplex from Stevie and lands an enziguri. Through sheer tyranny of will, Punk fires himself up and hits the GTS for the win. (4:58) Good little match here. **

In the back, Rob Van Dam bonds with Timbaland. Extreme Exposé wants to wow him with their dance moves.

Elijah Burke having failed, Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von try to recruit CM Punk. Punk refuses yet again, so Marcus gets a little more aggressive. Striker tries to calm things down by telling Punk to just watch what the New Breed does to the ECW Originals before he makes his final decision.

Extreme Exposé (or “Layla and Those Other Two Girls” as I like to call them) come out and hump some chairs to Timbaland’s “Give It To Me” song.

Time for them to air the obligatory WrestleMania recap music video.

  • Snitsky vs. Hardcore Holly

Snitsky stomps a mudhole like some demented bastard spawn of Steve Austin and a gorilla. Holly blocks a charge but staggers into a sideslam. Snitsky battles out of the Alabama Slam and hits the BIG BOOT for the win. (2:33) That’s not enough carnage for Snitsky though as he breaks Holly’s arm in between the ring steps. ½*

Now they re-air the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2007 ceremony recap video.

  • Extreme Rules: The Sandman, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer & Sabu vs. Elijah Burke, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von & Kevin Thorn (w/Ariel)

Normally, I don’t like when they have a rematch immediately after a PPV, but this is closer to a do-over rather than screwing people who ordered the PPV. JIP to Sabu hitting a springboard DDT on Striker and triggering a huge plunder-filled brawl. No tricycles, though. The New Breed gets sent to the floor, and Sabu hits a springboard dive. The Breed takes over and the fans actually chant “New Breed sucks!” Well, that’s encouraging. Sabu and RVD team up for Poetry in Motion and then Rolling Thunder. Cor Von catches Sabu with an Alpha Bomb though. Dreamer puts Burke in the tree of woe and dropkicks a chair in his face. Cor Von fights off Sandman and drops Dreamer on an opened chair but takes a cane shot from you know who. Cor Von knocks Sandman out with the POUNCE-ah, period. Van Dam sets up Thorn in front of a table, but Ariel crotches him on the top. Sabu tosses a chair into Thorn’s face to break up the DARK KISS. Sabu and Van Dam set Thorn up on a table and put him through it with dual dives. Sabu tosses Striker, but Burke sprints across the ring and gives Sabu the ELIJAH EXPRESS through the table in the corner nearly snapping his neck. That’s all she wrote as Burke gets the win. (8:26 shown) Considering they didn’t want this match to show up some of the other matches at WM, here they were just able to let loose and go crazy on each other for ten minutes. Real fun match where everybody got their moments to shine. While not something you would want to see every week, I do think it has enhanced the feud between these two factions. ***½

Smackdown is next! Until then, so long for now!
