NWA World Champion: Jeff Jarrett (11/3/2005)
NWA World Tag Team Champions: America’s Most Wanted (10/22/2005)
TNA X-Division Champion: AJ Styles (9/11/2005)

Your hosts are Mike Tenay and Don West.

  • Monty Brown vs. Hellvis

As the crowd starts chanting for Christian, Brown nails Hellvis with the POUNCE and pins him at 0:36.

3Live Kru and BG James head out to air some dirty laundry. BG tells Konnan and Killings that he loves them, but loves Kip as well. Ha, gay! Konnan reminds BG that Kip always latches onto somebody else to get ahead. First he was Honky Tonk Man’s valet, then he latched onto DX to get popular, and even almost married some cat named Palumbo. Ha! BG wants to know what Kip is supposed to do when Konnan never gave him a chance. Thumbs up or down votes, boys. Killings is on board, but Konnan ultimately gives in and welcomes Kip James to the now 4Live Kru.

We hear from Dr. Brad Homan on the condition of Christopher Daniels. He’s suffered the most severe type of concussion. Daniels cannot return to the ring until he is completely asymptomatic. As of this time, Homan cannot give us an ETA on his return.

  • AJ Styles vs. Chris Sabin

Should be a friendly non-title affair here. Typical feeling-out counters to start. They come to a standoff as we take a commercial break. When we return, AJ goes his special dropkick when Sabin surprises him with a headscissors. As Sabin comes off the ropes, AJ catches him with the dropkick after all for two. Backbreaker by Styles gets two. Muta Lock is applied, but Sabin escapes. Sabin looks for his Running Ligerbomb, but AJ slips out and Sabin rolls through only to eat a dropkick for two. Sabin manages a modified STF to Styles, but AJ makes the ropes. Some stiff forearms are traded. Now some chops. Both men try enziguri kicks at the same time to crash and burn. Styles comes back with the Asai DDT for 1-2-NO! Hey look, it’s Samoa Joe with the bloody towel at the tunnel. Styles gets a little distracted, allowing Sabin to hit the Running Ligerbomb for 1-2-NO! Styles avoids the Cradle Shock and goes for the Styles Clash. Sabin tries to backdrop AJ over, but they are close enough to the ropes, that AJ’s legs bounce off the top rope and back down into position for the STYLES CLASH. Using the added momentum, AJ is able to push Sabin back and deliver the STYLES CLASH for the win. (6:51 shown) Good TV match from these two with a fancy X-Division finish. Samoa Joe watches on with some cold, dead eyes. ***

We get a special look at the situation between Larry Zbyszko and Raven. Earlier today, Larry Z approached Raven to sign a release from TNA. Since he won’t sign the release, Zbyszko has a “House of Fun” match planned for next week’s iMPACT! Raven won’t give Zbyszko the time of day and closes the window on his GMC Tahoe.

After the break, Shane Douglas interviews Christian Cage. Long story short, Christian will be heading to the Serengeti come December 11 as he will be facing Monty Brown. He says that Monty shouldn’t worry about Christian sidestepping or bypassing him to the NWA world title, he should worry about Christian going straight through him to the NWA world title. Well, Gail Kim walks over and tells Christian he’s an idiot for backing the wrong horse. Scott D’Amore and Jeff Jarrett gave him the best offer of his career and he turned it down. America’s Most Wanted appear to tell Christian he made a bad move. Plus, payback is a bitch and there’s no way on God’s green earth that Christian will get anywhere near the NWA world title. Sorry about your damn luck. Alright, who is booking during this period because I wish they would come back.

  • Jeff Hardy vs. Abyss (w/James Mitchell)

Abyss BUM RUSHES THE SHOW, but Hardy moves and starts exploding on Abyss with clotheslines. Finisher attempts are traded and we head to the floor where Abyss catches a pescado and runs Hardy into the ringpost. After some guardrail action, we head back inside where Abyss avalanches Hardy. Tenay and West discuss how TNA will deliver with the barbed wire massacre at Turning Point. Meanwhile, Abyss misses a corner charge and takes the Bobby Eaton corner bump. Hardy mounts his comeback with the Corkscrew Moonsault for two. Off comes the shirt and there goes the squeals. SWANTON BOMB misses. Mitchell slides in a chair to Abyss as the lights go out. When they come back on, Sabu is at ringside with the barbed wire chair. With Abyss all scared, Hardy steals the chair and whacks Abyss a few times. While the ref takes the chair away, Hardy lands the TWIST OF FATE for the win. (4:08) They just did this same finish last week. Doesn’t Abyss need a win going into Turning Point? Anyways, Sabu chases Abyss and James Mitchell out of the ring with the barbed wire chair. At Turning Point, Abyss will have to FACE HIS FEARS. Is it so much that he’s afraid of barbed wire due to a past experience or just doesn’t like what barbed wire is capable of doing to your flesh? Tenay and West aren’t making that entirely clear. *½

  • Jeff Jarrett (w/Gail Kim) vs. Kip James (w/3Live Kru)

Immediately, the crowd is on Jarrett. West tells us that 3LK were removed from ringside during the break. Jarrett takes Kip to the floor and beats him up over at the announce table. They head into the crowd where Jarrett drops Kip on the guardrail. Back to the ring, Jarrett delivers the Bossman uppercut to Kip. He misses the Bossman straddle allowing Kip to hit the tilt-a-whirl side slam. Kip blocks Jarrett’s punches and fires back with punches of his own. Stinger Splash connects, but Jarrett retreats to the floor when he feels the Famouser coming. As he tries to regroup, he spies JACKIE GAYDA walking through the tunnel. Jarrett begs off as she starts pointing and yelling. Jackie then storms passed Jarrett to get at Gail Kim. WHAT IS HAPPENING? Jarrett stands in between them and tells Jackie that it’s not what she thinks. He eventually shoves Jackie back and tells her to leave. WHOA! When he tells her twice, Jackie slaps him back and pounces on Gail Kim. CAT FIGHT! CAT FIGHT! CAT FIGHT! WHERE IS KIP JAMES? Oh, there he is. Security finally grabs Jackie as Gail Kim heads up the ramp to keep her distance. Back in the ring, Kip hits the FAMOUSER for 1-2-NO! He calls for the MISSOURI BOAT RIDE (cobra clutch slam) when Bobby Roode appears while the ref is looking at Gail Kim and whacks Kip with a hockey stick. Jarrett lands the STROKE and gets the win. (6:15) BG James steps in and tells the ref what happened. He ends up having to fight off both Bobby Roode and Jeff Jarrett, which is a losing battle. That brings out Konnan and Ron Killings, which then brings out the rest of Team Canada. Jarrett sneaks out the back way asking where Gail is while Team Canada continues to beat the live out of the 4Live Kru. **

NEXT WEEK: You will not want to miss Raven’s House of Fun!
