Your hosts are Matt Striker and Brother Vampiro. Shoutout to Clark Duke in the audience!
- Pentagon Jr. vs. Argenis
Another week, another broken arm. Maybe? Argenis is on the offense to start with a tornado DDT and a superkick to send Pentagon out for an Asai Moonsault. Back in, it only gets ONE. Up top in the corner, Argenis delivers a super headscissors for 1-2-NO! Pentagon stops a handspring though with a dropkick. AC Green is in attendance. I remember when he used to come to Nitro whenever they were in Phoenix when he was with the Suns. For some reason, Clark Duke doesn’t get a mention. Meanwhile, Pentagon chops the crap out of Argenis and press slams him into the corner. Running dropkick in the corner gets two. Hey, Josh Barnett is here too. Pentagon clotheslines Argenis off the apron and takes him down with a somersault plancha. Back inside, Argenis receives the FEAR FACTOR. Pentagon wins with the armbreaker submission. (5:04) Another sacrifice for the master. It seems Pentagon is really getting over. SIN MIEDO~! This was pretty good, but fairly typical stuff. **½
In the locker room, Catrina confronts Fenix and tells him that Mil Muertes will not stop until he has ended all one thousand of his lives. In order to stop Muertes, Catrina instructs Fenix to bury him. And just like that, she is gone.
Konnan: REVENGE IS COMING~!
Elsewhere, we get some weird shots of King Cuerno driving in his blue Ford pick-up to the Temple. He is here.
- Special Referee: Son of Havoc – Ivelisse vs. Angelico
Vamp says he’s not impressed with Angelico. He notices the ladies like his waistline, but that’s not his thing. WHAT. Son of Havoc goes Mac-style and wears a sleeveless ref shirt. Angelico at the very least wants to cop a feel on Ivelisse. Who can blame him, honestly? He starts simple with some hand holding and Ivelisse isn’t down. She armdrags and headscissors him around. To the floor we go, Ivelisse delivers a TORNILLO onto Angelico. Back in, Angelico whips Ivelisse hard into a corner and goes for a running knee, but Havoc gets sneaky and pulls her out of the way. Ivelisse tries a kneebar when Angelico protests. It does little good because Angelico is much stronger and way too tall to be affected. Ivelisse settles for a mule kick and sunset flips him. As she sits on him, Angelico lifts her up at two and then puts her back down on top of him. Havoc is NOT happy. Angelico lands on his feet after a monkey flip and gets chopped REAL good a few times. When it’s Angelico’s turn to chop, Havoc stands in his way. Angelico counters a tornado DDT and calls for a stalling suplex with his hand in a wonderful area. Instead though, Ivelisse counters to a GUILLOTINE CHOKE. To get her to stop, Angelico starts rubbing on her butt. They start trading kicks and one from Angelico lands. He feels bad about it because up until now, he hasn’t really done anything to her. He looks for a RAZOR’S EDGE though, but Havoc pulls Ivelisse down off his shoulders. Hurracanrana by Ivelisse gets 1-2-NO! Ivelisse slaps Havoc maybe for not counting faster. Angelico goes to kick Havoc, but he ducks and Ivelisse gets wiped out. Whoops. Missionary pin and now Ivelisse gets fast-counted. (6:13) Now get off my girlfriend. Man, Angelico is such a DICK. ***
Now over to Mil Muertes. Catrina approaches him and reminds him of their past when he met her after the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, but all good things must come to an end. She tells Mil that she will have Fenix send him back to the darkness he came from in a match that will have “grave consequences”. Okay, it’s a casket match. Death is coming for you, Mil Muertes. Oddly enough, she leaves the Aztec stone behind! Epic storytelling here, folks.

ILLUMINATI~!
- Steel Cage Match: Johnny Mundo vs. King Cuerno
Essentially this is WWE rules except there’s no door to escape through. Muraco and Snuka, Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer, Harley Race and Ric Flair, Taker and Mankind, and now Mundo versus Cuerno. Vamp throws in Sting versus Vampiro, but no. Nobody wants to eat the cage first. Who can blame them? They start running the ropes and go from corner to corner. Flying knee by Mundo gets two. Series of nearfalls lead to a stalemate. Cuerno takes over and splashes Mundo off the top rope for two. In a cool spot, Cuerno manages a hotshot ONTO THE RIM OF THE CAGE. Cuerno then takes out the knee and drop toeholds Mundo face first into the cage to set up a nasty CURB STOMP INTO THE CAGE. Mundo avoids some double knees up against the cage and hits the standing corkscrew moonsault followed by the break dance legdrop for two. Mundo continues with the offense and hiptosses Cuerno into the cage. Running knee gets two. Mundo misses the Flying Chuck, but counters the Thrill of the Hunt. He hoists up Cuerno on his shoulders and drives him into the cage a bunch and puts Cuerno down with the Finlay Roll and the standing SSP. Cover, 1-2-NO! Cuerno stops Mundo from climbing out with a powerbomb into the cage followed by a sitout powerbomb on the mat for 1-2-NO! Another try at climbing out. Cuerno nearly escapes, but he’s held by his mask! Fearing being unmasked, he gets pulled back into the cage with Mundo! Excellent psychology there. They beat each other up on the top turnbuckle until they both collapse. As they come up fighting, they take turns running each other’s faces into the cage. Mundo cuts off Cuerno with a SPEAR. Cover, 1-2-NO! One more climb to the top. Mundo slams Cuerno’s face off the cage rim until he can easily flip him back down to the ring. The win looks academic, but a true showman never knows when to quit. END OF THE WORLD OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE!! Cover, 1-2-3! (13:41) Easily one of the best cage matches I’ve seen in ages. Definitely the best one I’ve seen this week, I’ll tell you that. Great psychology and a real battle between these two. They believably beat the crap out of each other and it showed from bell to bell. Thoroughly enjoyable match. ****
And with that, we are outta here.
NEXT WEEK: Mil Muertes could face death once again as he takes on Fenix in a coffin match. I just assume casket match is copyrighted by the eccentric billionaire.
