• Prince Puma (w/Konnan) vs. Marty The Moth Martinez
  

Marty starts the match with a hug for Puma. He looks for some selfie opportunities as well. His demeanor quickly changes as he floors Puma with a clothesline. Worst photo-op ever for Puma. This guy is bi-polar, bro. Marty begins to smile now and starts waving his arms. All I can think of is the Birds of War from Sunny in Philly. Puma comes back with a springboard enziguri. Marty avoids a corner charge and runs him over with another clothesline. Bicycle Kick gets two. He tries a top rope moonsault, but Puma moves. Puma connects with a roundhouse kick and the Blue Thunder Bomb sets up the 630 SENTON for the win. (3:50) Good extended squash for Puma while establishing a little bit of Marty’s character. Vamp thinks this is the last we will see of the Moth, but only time will tell. *

Hernandez comes out and Konnan calls him an SOB. Konnan tells him to bring it if he want some, but Hernandez goes back up the steps.

They take us back to last week when Johnny Mundo threw Alberto El Patron through the glass window of Dario Cueto’s office.

Earlier today, Vampiro met with a shirtless Johnny Mundo for an interview to find out why he did what was done to Alberto El Patron. Mundo says he came here to be the best and doesn’t exactly give Vamp a real answer until he asks Mundo if he is jealous of El Patron. Mundo says he was busting his ass here on day one and Alberto just strolls in here. He feels Alberto is overconfident, overpaid, and overrated. Mundo doesn’t care who Alberto is or where he comes from, he hopes one thing is clear to Dario Cueto and the rest of the locker room: Johnny Mundo is the biggest star in Lucha Underground. This is his world, but you already knew that as Mundo winks at the camera.

Meanwhile in Dario Cueto’s boarded up office, he meets with the Crew. He tries to motivate them to make a sacrifice tonight in the form of Ivelisse, Angelico, and Son of Havoc. If they are unsuccessful, this will anger the gods and Cueto knows someone who will have no problem sacrificing the Crew themselves. UH-OH!

• DelAvar Daivari vs. Texano
  

Texano is a house of fire to start. He misses a corner charge and takes an armbreaker DDT from Daivari. He concentrates on the arm for a bit, but then Texano stops Daivari up top for a superplex. Punches are traded in the middle of the ring. Texano lands the Rough Ryder for two. Daivari delivers some Rolling Germans, but then Texano fires back with a Codebreaker for two. Texano charges into an elbow in the corner and staggers around to get a clothesline from BIG RYCK for the DQ. (3:52) Afterwards, Big Ryck places Texano up in the corner by his throat for Daivari to give him a top-rope headscissors. With drink in hand, Daivari lays back on top of him while the ref is forced to do the three-count. We can all believe that Big Ryck did it for the greenbacks. *½

Over in Dario Cueto’s office, Catrina appears behind him reaching for the key around his neck. She wants Dario to bring back the now powerful than ever Mil Muertes to end Fenix once and for all. He wants her to make it interesting, so she suggests a DEATH MATCH and then disappears.

Elsewhere, the Black Lotus is leaving El Dragon Azteca. She is ready to fulfill her destiny and kill the brother of Dario Cueto. As El Dragon Azteca is reading her note, Chavo Guerrero approaches him offering his help.

After the break, Chavo explains to El Dragon Azteca that the Guerrero and Cueto families have a rich history mostly painted in blood. Chavo tells El Dragon Azteca that the Guerrero family are in danger. If he will use his influence down in Mexico to help the Guerrero family, Chavo will watch over the Black Lotus. El Dragon Azteca agrees to help, but tells Chavo to protect Black Lotus with his life. Chavo promises to protect her like she is su familia.

• Ladder Match: Lucha Underground Trios Champions Angelico, Ivelisse & Son of Havoc vs. The Crew
  

This is basically a handicap match as Ivelisse still has her leg in a cast. The Crew carry kendo sticks with them to the ring. They cut off Angelico and Son of Havoc as soon as they step out from behind the curtain and beat them into the ring. To make sure she doesn’t get involved, Bael punches Ivelisse in the face as she essentially sits out for this match. Castro and Bael intercept one of those 20-footers from Son of Havoc allowing Angelico to knock them both down with a somersault plancha. Cisco dropkicks a ladder into Son of Havoc. Angelico takes him out with a knee strike and takes off his shirt Hardy Boyz style to make the first climb towards the belts. The Crew stop him and deliver the series of dropkicks down in the corner they call the treatment. Angelico gets a ladder in his balls as Bael whacks the ladder with a chair to create the illusion of a big golf swing. Now the Crew want to put Son of Havoc through a table. He fights them off and backdrops Bael onto a ladder leaned up in the corner. Cisco and Castro stop him from climbing and deliver a DDT and double stomp combo. Angelico and Cisco head over to Cueto’s office. Cisco climbs a ladder to put Angelico through a table, but Angelico gets up and tips over the ladder to send Cisco flying into Dario Cueto’s glassless window! AWESOME. Angelico then climbs up to the roof of Cueto’s office and looks to leap down onto Bael, but Castro is there to whack him down with a kendo stick. Meanwhile, Son of Havoc is staggering away from a powerbomb by Bael only to get blindsided by Cisco as he pops out the window! AWESOME. While Angelico recuperates on the roof, Son of Havoc is fighting off the Crew. Cisco tries to stop Son of Havoc up top, but he gets thrown down through some tables. Son of Havoc hits a SHOOTING STAR PRESS on Bael on a table, but the table doesn’t break. With everybody down, Castro starts to climb the ladder without anybody standing in his way when ANGELICO LEAPS OFF THE ROOF OF CUETO’S OFFICE AND DROPKICKS CASTRO OFF THE LADDER! When you go for a spot that big, that could not have looked any better. Ivelisse does her part and climbs the ladder on one foot to retain the trios titles. (13:41) Some very cool spots here. I’m not sure I would have done Angelico’s leap off the office spot so soon, but they did it anyway. So I guess the Crew will be sacrificed, but what does that mean?! ***½

NEXT WEEK: Mil Muertes returns to face Fenix in a death match!
