November 20, 1995
Richmond, VA

The current WWF champs were as follows:
World Champion: Bret Hart (11/19/1995)
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon (10/22/1995)
World Tag Team Champions: The Smoking Gunns (9/25/1995)
Women’s Champion: Alundra Blayze (10/23/1995)

We get some still shots of Bret Hart defeating Diesel for the WWF title last night at Survivor Series.

Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler.

They take us back to last week on Raw when the 1-2-3 Kid finally showed his true colors and turned on Razor Ramon to join up with the Million Dollar Corporation. Both the 1-2-3 Kid and Psycho Sid were successful in their elimination matches last night, so we get some stills from that as well.

Hakushi vs. The 1-2-3 Kid (w/Ted DiBiase)

Rematch from SummerSlam here. Crowd immediately wants Razor to come out. He’s not in the building, but he is on the phone with McMang. Naturally, he vows revenge on his little buddy who betrayed him. Headlocks and shoulderblocks occur while Razor is on the phone so there’s not too many things to close attention to. Marty Jannetty runs out and tries to get after the Kid, but some refs take care of him. Commercials! When we come back, Kid is in control and nails his kick combo in the corner. Hakushi gets his neck crimped, but Kid kicks him back down again. Hakushi whiffs on a dropkick, allowing Kid to nail a flying splash for 1-2-NO! Hakushi lands a desperate tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to begin his comeback. Handspring elbow staggers Kid for the jumping headbutt for 1-2-NO! Flying Shoulderblock gets two as well. Hakushi is just so fluid and awesome. Kid takes a superkick out to the floor. When Hakushi heads up top, DiBiase shoves him down, allowing Kid to sneak the Spinning Heel Kick for the three-count. (6:47) DiBiase awards the Kid with some cash. Afterwards, DiBiase and Lawler tell the Kid how proud they are of him. When DiBiase starts talking about Jannetty, he comes back out only to be stopped by Psycho Sid with a POWERBOMB on the floor. Pretty sure that got 50% cheers. **½

Dok Hendrix brings us the In Your House Report. The next In Your House will come to you LIVE on PPV on December 17 from Hershey, PA at 7PM EST.

MAIN EVENT: WWF Championship: Bret Hart (c) vs. The British Bulldog
-Arkansas Hog Pen Match: Henry Godwinn vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Not too surprising, we catch Diesel in the back talking to Shawn Michaels.

Savio Vega vs. Skip (w/Sunny)

Before this match hardly gets out of first gear, Diesel comes out and makes sure the match doesn’t continue because he has something to say. He thought about coming out here and apologizing to what he did to Bret and to all his dear fans. Diesel doesn’t think that’s what he’s going to do. For the first time in a year, he slept like a baby. When he got up this morning, he had a smile on his face. The reason he was smiling was because he could be himself again and not some corporate puppet that Vince decided to create. The next day after he won the WWF title, he was in Titan Towers was told to smile more by the corporate suits. Last night was the tip of the iceberg. Big Daddy Cool is back. Diesel puts on the dark shades again and tells us the only things that matter to him now are his family and friends. If he slaps hands with a fan, they better have a black glove on so he knows you are with him. So I guess he’s back.

Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart (w/Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji)

Owen tries to get a quick pin on Shawn early with shoulderblocks and a headlock takedown. That leads into a classic backslide sequence which earns a nearfall for Shawn. A pair of armdrags and a dropkick puts Owen out on the floor. Vince mentions how the night before at Survivor Series, HBK took a Razors Edge, a legdrop from Yokozuna, and a Powerbomb from Sid all in the same match. Back inside, Shawn twists on Owen’s arm. Shawn doesn’t go under a leapfrog and snaps off a hurracanrana into some punches. Owen ducks a clothesline and returns the favor which takes Shawn to the floor. Owen catches HBK with a sick baseball slide. I know what you’re thinking – how can a baseball slide be sick? He nailed Shawn REAL good right in the face. Shawn’s real slow getting up to his feet. Once he’s on the apron, he flips out of a suplex. Owen turns around on him for a bridging German suplex for 1-2-NO! He goes to work on Shawn’s back for a bit. He hits the chinlock. Shawn elbows out into a spinning heel kick as we go to commercial. Afterwards, Owen has Shawn in the chinlock again. Shawn escapes again, but Owen continues to do damage on Shawn’s concussed head. No thanks to those nine hoodlums! Shawn hits a desperation jumping forearm as Vince hypes UT vs. Kama for next week. Owen’s up first, but then Shawn kips up to his feet! He whips Owen hard into the corner and nails him with another jumping forearm. Flying elbow drop connects! Cover, 1-2-NO! Shawn gets Owen all wobbly with a chest-first corner bump for SWEET CHIN MUSIC. Owen doesn’t turn around and stays in the corner though. Shawn goes after him and grabs a leg only to take an enziguri kick to the head! Owen wants the SHARPSHOOTER, but a poke to the eyes kills that. Shawn flips out of a back suplex and goes for a rollup off the ropes, but Owen holds on. Shawn charges back at Owen and clotheslines him out. Skin that cat! Shawn acts like Shawn for a moment and then grabs his head before slowly collapsing to the mat. Everybody wonders what is wrong with Shawn. Even Owen backs off as ref Earl Hebner goes and gets some help. (10:00 shown) Vince leaves the commentary table to check on Shawn as this worked angle seemed very real. This was to allow Shawn some time off. They would go as far as to even beg the question of whether or not Shawn Michaels would ever return to the ring. Of course, he would be back just in time to win the Royal Rumble and go onto WrestleMania 12 for the Ironman match with Bret. Everyone did an excellent job to make this seem as real as possible. Not too surprising, the match was pretty good too. ***¼
