Footnotes:
[1]: This is a Smackdown-exclusive womens championship. After winning respective matches to earn the opportunity to wrestle for the new championship, Michelle McCool defeated Natalya at The Great American Bash to become the inaugural champion.
[2]: So Melina tears her ACL and has to vacate the title on January 4, 2010.
[3]: This was a tournament final.
[4]: Of course this was a fatal four-way that also included the Divas champion Eve Torres and Gail Kim.
[5]: As the WWE Women’s champion, Michelle McCool beat Melina in a title unification match. It doesn’t matter though because instead of the WWE Women’s title becoming the main title for the WWE Divas, they just went and stuck with the Divas title a few weeks after this match took place.
[6]: The Divas title was defended in a handicap match as the Divas champ Michelle McCool and Layla lost to Natalya.
[7]: This was a fatal four-way match which also included the Divas champ Natalya and Michelle McCool.
