WE’RE IN BLOODY OL’ ENGLAND! Your hosts are Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. Unfortunately, this is the last we’ll hear from Jim Ross until WrestleMania XV due to a Bell’s Palsy attack. On the plus side though, at least this time he wasn’t fired. I mean, what company would fire a man due to an uncontrollable medical condition? Can you imagine? Read the rest of this entry

We have not really heard much out of Kaientai since TAKA Michinoku lost the WWF Light Heavyweight title to Christian back at Judgment Day: In Your House back in October. Now that Duane Gill from the JOB Squad has managed to capture the Light Heavyweight title away from Christian, now is the time for TAKA Michinoku and Kaientai to win back the gold. We see Yamaguchi-san cutting a short Japanese promo from a stairwell. Standing behind him are TAKA Michinoku and Sho Funaki with their arms crossed looking pissed while Dick Togo and Men’s Teioh stand behind *them* waving Japanese flags.

We start the show with all the setup and payoff to the BANG 3:16 moment from last week’s RAW – including the important letter Austin put into Vince’s coat pocket. They repeat JR asking what’s in the letter several times for added effect.
Earlier tonight, Steve Austin showed up to the arena with a big smile on his face.

Your hosts are Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. I will say, unlike in WCW, there’s not a ton of thought put into the PPV sets in 1998 outside of the now “Big Five”. Every WCW PPV set in 1998 looks like there was at least some artistic thought put into them. Read the rest of this entry

We get a great video package highlighting the last month of issues between Steve Austin and Mr. McMahon. Austin ain’t through with ya, Vince. Not by a long shot.
Earlier tonight on RAW, Mr. McMahon drives himself to the building in his beautiful white Corvette. I would be just kidding you if I knew what year model. Anyways, the security guard takes his sweet time opening the garage door. Once he drives past the door, Vince gives him the riot act. Commissioner Slaughter, Pat Patterson, and Gerald Brisco are there to meet Vince and help him out of the car. McMahon vents about the “idiot” at the garage door. He wants the guy to keep the door open for when Steve Austin arrives. Oh boy. Trouble is a-brewing. Vince has a nice Titan Wheelchair, by the way.
