Tonight’s show starts in Dario Cueto’s office. Big Ryck introduces some friends of his to Dario: Kill Shot and his cousin The Mack. Not Mack, but THE Mack. CZW fans are familiar with Kill Shot who wrestled there as Shane Strickland while The Mack is better known to PWG fans as Willie Mack. Big Ryck heard that Cueto put the hit out on him that cost him his eye. Cueto denies the rumor and offers Ryck and his boys a spot in the Lucha Underground Trios title tournament. They seem down with that. Ryck sticks out his hand and Dario thinks he wants a handshake. HAHAHAHA, no. He wants a wad of hundreds. So does Kill Shot and The Mack. They walk away without laying a finger on El Jefe.
Your hosts are Matt Striker and Brother Vampiro.

Over in Dario Cueto’s office, he offers Alberto El Patron his first match in Lucha Underground. AEP wants Texano, but Cueto feels he needs a warm-up first; perhaps Ricky Mandel or Famous B. Nah, he wants Texano. Cueto needs time to promote something that big. How about Son of Havoc? El Patron violently clears everything off Cueto’s desk and makes himself perfectly clear. Tonight: Alberto El Patron versus Texano. Seeming a little nervous, Cueto finally grants El Patron his match. After El Patron leaves, Cueto picks up his red bull off the floor and stares at it. EPIC MAIN EVENT~!
What’s with all these hipster bands showing up on Lucha Underground? I don’t care about Mariachi El Bronx or Amandititita. I care less about these people than I do about the guys who showed up to perform at WrestleMania this year.

Over in Dario Cueto’s office, he and Alberto el Patron exchange niceties. Alberto asks about the key around Cueto’s neck, but Cueto immediately changes the subject and wants to know why Alberto is here. Alberto says he appreciates what the temple represents and tells Cueto he needs to get some things off his chest. If Cueto grants his request, this place will never be the same. The next time he comes through his office for anything, it will be for blood. The camera heads back into the arena when Alberto starts to tell Cueto what is on his mind.
Your hosts are Matt Striker and Brother Vampiro. Striker tells us that Alberto el Patron will have an open mic to talk about whatever is on his mind. Read the rest of this entry

Not even going to bother recapping the pre-show match. In 2014, the New Age Outlaws defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust for the WWE tag titles. Yes, that happened. I don’t know why I’m surprised. I mean, it’s one thing though for something like this to have happened in 2006 when Ric Flair and Roddy Piper won the tag titles, but at least now it seems like they are putting SOME effort into the tag team scene, and then *this* happens.
Your hosts are Michael Cole, JBL, and Jerry Lawler. I guess it should be noted that Ricardo Rodriguez has joined the Spanish announce table. At least we know he’s not been “future endeavored” yet. Read the rest of this entry
