We start off the show with footage from the King of the Ring when Yokozuna had his hand raised as the *NEW* WWF world champion after pinning Hulk Hogan. In a post-match interview with the new champ and his manager, Mr. Fuji tells the world that Yokozuna will be holding his title win celebration on July 4! Okerlund thinks Fuji and Yoko are trying to “desecrate an American holiday” by celebrating their victory on an American landmark.

WWE: The Best of In Your House (BLURAY EDITION~!)

WWE – The Best of In Your House
BLU-RAY REVIEW EDITION
Released: April 30, 2013
Your host is the legendary Todd Pettengill. He wonders if the net worth of the house they gave away is still in the positives after the housing market crash. Sheesh. Forget that this guy still has an ’80s-sitcomy vibe about him, he’s making 2008 jokes. Read the rest of this entry

WWE – Bret Hitman Hart: The Dungeon Collection
Three-Disc Set
Released: March 5, 2013
This is a SLACKAMANIA/PDRMatt exclusive DVD review. My boy Slack handles the interview portions while I tackle all of the match recaps. I want to work on the first Bret Hart DVD set here pretty soon. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy the latest WWE Home Video offering based solely on one of my wrestling heroes and hopefully one of yours: Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

WWF: Monday Night Raw (05.24.93)

Monday Night Raw
May 24, 1993

World Champion: Hulk Hogan (4/4/1993)
Intercontinental Champion: Marty Jannetty (5/17/1993)
World Tag Team Champions: Money Inc. (10/13/1992)
Up to this point in my RAW 1993 recaps, they have all been WWE 24/7 edits. For the next six episodes, these recaps will be experienced by me through the original USA network broadcasts. These are literally uncut, uncooked, and uncensored. Maybe you will be able to tell a difference, maybe not. Either way, enjoy!

WWF: Monday Night Raw (05.10.93)

Monday Night Raw
May 10, 1993
New York City
Manhattan Center
The current WWF champs were as follows:
World Champion: Hulk Hogan (4/4/1993)
Intercontinental Champion: Shawn Michaels (10/27/1992)
World Tag Team Champions: Money Inc. (10/13/1992)
While Shawn Michaels (complete with a VINTAGE WWF t-shirt) is running his mouth off about Hacksaw Jim Duggan outside the Manhattan Center hours before the show, Mr. Perfect stops by for a FIGHT that ends up with Shawn getting tossed onto Finkel’s Oldsmobile Achieva and doing some damage to the windshield. The WWF road agents pounce on the scene and attempt to separate the two. Good way to start the show off with a BOOM there.
Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, and Bobby Heenan. Read the rest of this entry
