Last week at the end of the show if you remember from the five months ago that I last recapped a Nitro from 1997, Roddy Piper stood in the ring apparently thinking FOREVER about the nWo flyers that fell from the ceiling that said ‘Tradition bites’ while Ric Flair was taking a beating in the aisleway at the hands of Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Syxx. Why did it take him so long to make the save? What does this mean for Slamboree?! We’ll find out TONIGHT! Maybe. Who knows. It’s Nitro.

Remember when it was announced back in January that Big Bubba and Dusty Rhodes would meet in a “Bunkhouse Stampede” cage match to find the true winner of the Bunkhouse Stampede finals? That match took place in Pittsburgh on the night before this program and we have footage! Jim Cornette introduces Big Bubba, but then the real ring announcer reminds him and everybody in Pittsburgh that Cornette has been BANNED from ringside.
