Dario Cueto is looking sharp tonight in his tuxedo as he heads over to see Black Lotus whose stuck in a cell next to Dario’s Elephant Man brother. Dario reveals to her that it was in fact El Dragon Azteca who killed her parents. Since the Black Lotus people and El Dragon Azteca’s family were at war, El Dragon Azteca thought he would have the last laugh by blaming Dario’s brother for their death instead. Once Dario leaves to start the show, Black Lotus starts punching the wall to try and break loose. This thing is getting so convoluted with all this backstory, I’m starting to lose interest.

From somewhere presumably in Japan, Pentagon Jr. talks to his Master about what to do with Vampiro since he refuses to face him at Ultima Lucha. There’s a voice changer for the Master (who does speak English) so we do now know that he does exist even if only in Pentagon’s mind. Anyways, the Master instructs Pentagon to go after Vamp’s ego. Pentagon calls out Vampiro by his real name declaring to his Master that he will be his sacrifice.

In Dario Cueto’s office, Chavo Guerrero tells him that the Black Lotus has been trained by El Dragon Azteca. All of his family’s debt in Mexico will be forgiven if he protects her. However, it looks like Chavo is working on both sides here. A Guerrero is only truly loyal to the highest bidder. Cueto wants Black Lotus on a silver platter and starts stacking up money for Chavo. No cash, just around the clock protection from Mexico. Cueto grants him the request, but wants to know what Chavo really wants.

Dario Cueto goes to see his brother in the cage. He holds a red sack full of seven golden medallions in his hand. Apparently, it was part of their father’s fortune that was seemingly lost. Once united, the medallions will make a warrior more powerful than the gods. Wait, has Lucha Underground turned into Dragon Ball Z now? Anyways, some of his luchadores will begin fighting over the medallions tonight. Dario may even bring a TV in here for his brother to enjoy the mayhem.

Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron head to Dario Cueto’s office to settle a disagreement on who should get the next Lucha Underground title shot. However, they do agree on one thing: Hernandez (Mundo calls him Fernandez) should NOT be getting a title shot because he hasn’t beaten either one of them. Cueto compromises by putting Mundo and El Patron in a match tonight. The winner faces Hernandez in a new number one contenders match – next week. As he’s been known to do, Cueto is almost salivating at the thought of finding out which one of these two is the absolute best.

We begin tonight’s program from wherever the black lotus is at. She’s still in her Mexican lucha libre training with El Dragon Azteca. She doesn’t know when he will let her fight, but she knows she is ready. She’s told that her anger is her greatest weakness, but Lotus feels it is her greatest strength. COME WITH ME. We get to see her fight off a bunch of dudes. This feels like Batman Begins to me. She gets into a back and forth struggle with El Dragon Azteca. When she fails, he knows she’s still not ready. Black Lotus looks very disappointed as we head over to the Temple.

Over in Dario Cueto’s office, Prince Puma and Konnan are there. Dario wants this trios title to be a big deal, so he even wants the champ Puma to pick a couple partners for a tournament match next week. One of their opponents in that match will be King Cuerno who Cueto has chosen to face Prince Puma tonight in the main event – for the Lucha Underground title. Two title defenses in three weeks!

Tonight’s show starts in Dario Cueto’s office. Big Ryck introduces some friends of his to Dario: Kill Shot and his cousin The Mack. Not Mack, but THE Mack. CZW fans are familiar with Kill Shot who wrestled there as Shane Strickland while The Mack is better known to PWG fans as Willie Mack. Big Ryck heard that Cueto put the hit out on him that cost him his eye. Cueto denies the rumor and offers Ryck and his boys a spot in the Lucha Underground Trios title tournament. They seem down with that. Ryck sticks out his hand and Dario thinks he wants a handshake. HAHAHAHA, no. He wants a wad of hundreds. So does Kill Shot and The Mack. They walk away without laying a finger on El Jefe.
