LAST WEEK: We witnessed the wedding of Teddy Long and Kristal Marshall. Not only was it a disaster, but TEDDY LONG SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK! I guess the very thought that Kristal’s poon was about to legally become *all* his was just too much for him to take.
THIS WEEK: We hear straight from the mouth of Vickie Guerrero that Teddy Long has yet to recover and is stuck in a coma. Since the show must go on, Vince McMahon makes her the official General Manager of Smackdown. Finlay appears as he and Vince bond over Hornswoggle.

AT FIRST GLANCE: NOW WE’RE TALKING. We begin disc two post-WrestleMania VI and while maybe the first half of this disc doesn’t really grab me, the Ric Flair era of the WWF is really fun for me. Flair’s matches with Roddy Piper and Hulk Hogan should be interesting, but what I’m super interested in are the Bret Hart matches. Undertaker and Bam Bam Bigelow could be a hidden gem as well. Work-wise, this should blow the first disc away.

Disc One
I haven’t completed a DVD recap in a while and this one looked pretty interesting, so I thought I would give it a shot. Heck, I haven’t purchased a WWE DVD in forever, so you know this had to have peaked my interest on some level.
AT FIRST GLANCE: Disc one covers the 1980s portion of the set and creeps into 1990 a little bit. Some of the tag matches could be interesting. On disc one, I’m most interested in the handicap match between Hogan and Savage against the Hart Foundation and the Honky Tonk Man. I think that could possibly be a hidden gem. The Powers of Pain against the Rockers could be promising as well. While this doesn’t surprise me that it’s part of the set because it’s WWE, I’m scratching my head over why they would think we would want to sit through Andre the Giant and Big John Studd — in 1989. Nevertheless, let’s get at it.
